Conducts clinical interviews and assessments for individuals referred to accountability court programs to determine program placement. Manages referral documentation, administers diagnostic tools, and presents clinical findings during court and referral meetings.
Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or Social Work, with a preference for professional licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Candidates should have experience with substance use and mental health disorders, preferably within the criminal justice system.
Job Summary:
This position conducts clinical interviews and assessments for individuals referred to accountability court programs through Treatment Services. The incumbent serves as the initial point of contact for referring agencies, documents referrals, schedules evaluations, administers and scores assessment tools, completes clinical interviews and documentation, secures required releases of information, gathers supporting records, and presents cases for program assignment. Evaluations may be conducted at the Hall County Detention Center, Treatment Services office, Hall County Courthouse, or other designated locations.
Conducts clinical assessments for individuals referred to accountability court programs
Administers and scores assessment tools, including but not limited to:
Essential functions continuously require the ability to remain in a stationary position; operate a computer and office machinery; think analytically; handle stress; concentrate; remember details; observe; make decisions; adjust to change; direct others; meet deadlines; stay organized; use math/calculations; and type. Functions frequently require moving about the office and transporting items up to 10 lbs.
Functions occasionally require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, pushing/pulling, and repetitive use of hands, arms, or legs. Incumbents may be required to be on-call and work irregular hours.
Sensory Requirements
Essential functions require effective verbal and written communication and hand‑eye coordination for equipment use.
Environmental Factors
Essential functions require the ability to work independently or with others in an office or court-related environment.
