About JLG, an Oshkosh company
JLG began in 1969, when our founder, John L. Grove set out to resolve growing safety concerns in the construction industry. Since then we have been committed to understanding the challenges and delivering innovative solutions to the access market. We partner with customers to provide quality equipment, training opportunities and trusted support within the access industry. We are a global company, and our products—including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories—can be found all over the world.
The Supply Chain Process & Data Analyst supports the supply chain organization by improving business processes, data quality, reporting, system usage, and performance visibility. This role partners with purchasing, planning, operations, logistics, quality, finance, IT, suppliers, and category teams to translate business needs into practical data, process, and system solutions.
The analyst will combine supply chain business acumen with strong analytical capability to identify performance gaps, improve decision-making, standardize processes, and support system-enabled improvements. This role will help ensure that supply chain data is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business objectives across ERP, reporting, purchasing, planning, and supplier performance processes.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Analyze supply chain, purchasing, planning, supplier management, and operations processes to identify inefficiencies, data issues, procedural gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Serve as a business-facing analytical resource for supply chain systems, ERP processes, purchasing tools, reporting platforms, supplier performance data, and related data integration points.
Apply strong business acumen to interpret supply chain data, understand operational impacts, and translate analysis into practical recommendations that support quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and service objectives.
Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and recurring reports to support supplier performance, purchasing execution, inventory visibility, planning effectiveness, and business performance management.
Lead data validation, profiling, cleanup, and governance activities to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of supply chain data across internal systems.
Partner with buyers, planners, category managers, operations, finance, quality, and IT to define reporting needs, document business requirements, and support system or process enhancements.
Support Infor XA ERP processes, data analysis, reporting, issue resolution, and business process improvements where applicable.
Troubleshoot data, process, and system issues impacting supply chain execution; support root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Map, document, and standardize supply chain processes to align business requirements, system capabilities, and standard work expectations.
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, reduce rework, improve data visibility, and simplify supply chain decision-making.
Support supply chain improvement projects, including scope definition, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, testing, training, implementation support, and results tracking.
Monitor supplier, purchasing, planning, inventory, quality, delivery, and cost performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Participate in cross-functional project reviews, launch readiness activities, process improvement events, and business performance discussions.
Train buyers and cross-functional users on dashboards, reports, system processes, data definitions, and best practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Finance, or related field.
Three or more years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, operations, logistics, quality, finance, analytics, data management, or a related field.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Experience analyzing business processes, supply chain data, operational performance, or ERP-related data.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data, process performance, system behavior, and operational outcomes.
Strong analytical skills with experience in root-cause analysis, data validation, KPI development, reporting, and process improvement.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and translate data insights into practical business actions.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, follow-through, time management, and the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities and business needs may change.
Experience supporting AI enablement in supply chain, including process automation, analytics, reporting, decision support, governance, or workflow improvement initiatives.
Experience with Infor XA ERP, including purchasing, planning, inventory, supplier, item master, MRP, or related supply chain processes.
Experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI, including Power Query, data modeling, and DAX.
Familiarity with SQL, data warehouses, ERP reporting tables, project management tools, workflow automation tools, or similar platforms.
Supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, APICS/ASCM, data analytics, business analytics, or project management certifications.
Experience with the Microsoft suite including Office, CoPilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with other web-based business applications including AI GenAI productivity applications (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) Databricks, SQL Server, and DB2.
