The Unjammer is responsible for safely identifying and clearing routine equipment jams to maintain efficient linen flow in a commercial laundry environment. They must adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, and communicate effectively with supervisors and maintenance teams.
Candidates should have the ability to work safely around industrial machinery and follow verbal and written instructions. Previous experience in industrial or commercial laundry settings is preferred but not required.

Responsible for safely identifying and clearing routine equipment jams and maintaining proper linen flow throughout the production area. Equipment may include conveyors, feeders, folders, ironers, dryers, and other laundry-processing equipment.
Safety is an essential function of this position. Employees must recognize when a jam can be safely cleared and when Maintenance or supervision is required. Employees must never bypass machine guards or place hands, tools, or other objects into moving equipment.
