Responsible for moving materials between inventory and production areas while maintaining accurate production records. Duties include packing finished goods, performing equipment maintenance, and keeping the inventory yard organized.
Requires a minimum of 9th grade education, though a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete the forklift licensing process.
Forklift Operator I is responsible for the movement of material from inventory to production and back to inventory. Maintains correct paperwork and production records as required. Provides production departments with material from inventory according to production schedule.
