The consultant will perform technical work for nuclear power uprates, including managing project budgets, resources, and equipment evaluations. They will also interface with clients and vendors while mentoring junior engineering staff on complex plant engineering tasks.
Candidates must hold a BSME from an ABET-accredited program and possess over 10 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. Proficiency in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics is essential, along with strong technical report writing skills.
Our electric power generation clients are seeking to increase the power output of their existing power plants to meet the electric demands. This is expanding work in the nuclear industry. You will work on major systems, equipment and plant process in the following areas:
