El Líder de Equipo de TOM (Transportation Operations Management) para MELI es un rol operativo que tiene como propósito garantizar la ejecución eficiente, segura y en tiempo del transporte de media milla entre centros logísticos dentro de la red de distribución MELI, que incluye las operaciones de Receiving Center (RC), Cross Docks Center (XD), Sort Center (SC) y Fulfillments Center (FC), liderando la ejecución y performance del yard, garantizando la seguridad, excelencia operativa, implementando proyectos e iniciativas de tecnología en una red en constante crecimiento.
Este rol actúa como enlace clave entre el área de Operaciones, Planning, Carriers (MLP´s), Loss Prevention, Seguridad, Monitoring, hubs operativos y los equipos de primera y última milla, asegurando la continuidad del flujo logístico, la trazabilidad de las unidades y la solución oportuna de incidencias operativas en patio.

Seguimiento al despacho y recibo de unidades: coordinar el cumplimiento a la asignación de rutas entre centros de distribución, asegurando que las unidades estén correctamente programadas y cargadas, maximizando la utilización de la capacidad, minimizando viajes en vacío y respetando los tiempos de entrega.
Liderar un equipo operativo del Yard en FCs, SCs, XDs y RCs, garantizando cumplimiento de KPIs claves como: On-Time Arrival, On-Time Docking, On-Time Departure, Out On Time, Driver Dwell Time, Truck Utilization, Cost Per Package y uso eficiente de recursos.
Responsable de un equipo de Team Leaders, Auxiliares, Operadores Logísticos y Yard Marshalls, promoviendo una cultura de accountability, ownership, seguridad y resultados.
Supervisar la seguridad, calidad y eficiencia en la gestión de patios (yard), asegurando cumplimiento de los estándares MELI.
Actuar como punto de contacto clave con Operaciones UTR, Finanzas, IT, Seguridad y People, para asegurar soporte transversal.
Impulsar proyectos de mejora continua, tecnología y procesos Lean orientados a productividad y reducción de costos.Identificar cuellos de botella y analizar datos operativos para proponer soluciones a problemas estructurales o sistémicos.
Promover la estandarización y difusión de buenas prácticas entre sitios, turnos y equipos.
Requisitos:
Mínimo 4 años en coordinación operativa de transporte, logística, tráfico o afín.
Deseable experiencia en empresas de consumo masivo, retail, paquetería.
Gestión de transportistas.
Excel avanzado, G-Sheet y reporteo de indicadores operativos, SQL Deseable.
Capacidad demostrada para liderar equipos y gestionar procesos operativos de manera eficaz.
Adaptación a entornos dinámicos y cambios en procesos.
Disponibilidad para rolar turnos.
