Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Wealth & Asset Management, Capital Markets, Banking & Payments | Type: Permanent
Help Shape Platform-Led Change in Financial Services
The Role
We’re looking for experienced Project Managers with deep insight into the business and operating models of wealth managers, asset managers, and investment platforms. You’ll work closely with top-tier clients on complex platform transformation and migration programmes—often involving systems like Aladdin, Avaloq, Cinqor, FNZ, and Charles River. This role requires not just project management skills, but a hands-on understanding of how investment firms run front to back. You'll also be expected to leverage approved AI tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance project delivery, reporting, planning, and decision-making, while applying appropriate human judgement and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Lead platform change and migration projects across front office, operations, and technology functions.
Deliver end-to-end regulatory or strategic change across multiple workstreams and stakeholders, using AI-enabled ways of working where appropriate to improve delivery efficiency and insight.
Own project governance, tracking and reporting—ensuring transparency and proactive risk management, leveraging approved AI tools and automation to support reporting, monitoring, and project controls while maintaining appropriate review and oversight.
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to align priorities and ensure successful outcomes.
Guide and support client teams through change adoption, training, and business readiness, championing responsible adoption of AI-enabled ways of working where aligned to client and organisational standards.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Project Manager in Wealth & Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Banking & Payments.
Solid exposure to investment platforms or products—particularly Aladdin, Avaloq, Cinqor, FNZ, or Charles River.
Strong understanding of business architecture in investment firms—front office, operations, and middle office.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with matrixed stakeholder structures.
Effective communicator with a consultative mindset and ability to influence change.
Curiosity and willingness to adopt approved AI tools and AI-enabled workflows to improve project delivery, collaboration, and productivity.
Ability to apply sound judgement when using AI-generated outputs, ensuring appropriate validation, auditability, escalation, and compliance with responsible AI and organisational governance standards.
Bonus Points For
Background in consulting.
Experience with portfolio management systems and investment administration.
Business consulting experience, especially in regulatory-driven change.
Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery methodology knowledge.
Familiarity with business readiness and user acceptance testing coordination.
Experience supporting AI-enabled transformation, automation, or technology modernisation initiatives within financial services.
