An associate degree in chemistry or environmental technology is preferred, along with 0-3 years of experience with hazardous chemicals. Candidates must be able to lift 60 pounds and wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator.

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to work at our processing facility, conducting sampling and laboratory analysis on waste sample for such purposes as to determine safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with all government regulations. We are looking for team members with attention to detail and willingness to learn!
This position is physical in nature and may involve: walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling. May include working with: chemicals & environmental contaminants, heat & cold in outdoor environments, noise, and fumes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct sampling and perform laboratory analysis on waste sample for such purposes as to determine safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with all government regulations and company standard operating procedures.
