Construction interns assist project managers and superintendents with project planning, buyout, management, and closeout tasks. They are responsible for maintaining project documentation, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or Architecture with at least one year of coursework. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are required to succeed in this field-based role.
Construction Interns will assist Project Managers and Project Superintendents in project planning, buyout, project management, and closeout. This role will involve assisting in obtaining, coordinating and distributing the information and authorizations required to construct the project on time, within budget and to the Landmark’s quality standards.
The Summer Construction Internship program will run from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Possible onsite locations include Boone, NC; Charleston, SC; Charlottesville, VA; and Columbia, SC. Please note these locations are subject to change.

The pay for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on a variety of factors including market factors in the geographical location where the candidate lives.
