Facilitate sessions with business and technology stakeholders to identify challenges and define epics, features, user stories, functional requirements, and technical requirements.
Apply capital markets and Calypso expertise to ensure strategic initiatives align with business objectives.
Perform fit-to-standard and gap analysis between out-of-the-box Calypso capabilities and business requirements. Recommend configuration-first solutions and develop controlled customizations or extensions when standard platform capabilities do not satisfy approved requirements.
Translate business requirements into solution designs, technical specifications, configuration designs, interface mappings, implementation plans, test scenarios, and operational support documentation.
Design and develop Calypso configurations and extensions supporting trade capture, trade lifecycle processing, workflows, reference data, static data, market data, pricing, position management, collateral processing, confirmations, settlements, accounting, scheduled tasks, interfaces, and reporting.
Drive Calypso integration efforts by designing secure and configurable API, messaging, file-based, and service-oriented solutions.
Optimize data exchange with trading venues, market data providers, collateral platforms, payment and settlement services, accounting systems, regulatory platforms, and enterprise data repositories.
Lead platform upgrade, migration, cloud, infrastructure, and modernization initiatives. Assess compatibility, remediation needs, technical debt, deployment impacts, and implementation risks across Calypso and its dependent systems.

Develop the design and strategy for the Calypso system lifecycle, ensuring stability, integrity, supportability, and health of the service.
Coordinate lifecycle plans across technology and present strategy, timeline, dependencies, risks, and budget considerations to senior leaders.
Lead comprehensive unit, integration, system integration, regression, user acceptance, performance, resiliency, and production validation activities.
Define acceptance criteria, create or review test cases, support defect triage, and ensure traceability from requirements through implementation.
Advance incident and problem management strategy for Calypso, ensuring rapid response and resolution for critical platform, workflow, data, scheduled-task, and integration issues.
Serve as an escalation point, lead root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
Provide senior-level production support and technical oversight for complex Calypso incidents, including analysis of application logs, interfaces, messaging flows, batch processes, reports, market data, trade processing, and environmental dependencies.
Define and deliver continuous improvement strategies, proactive issue resolution, automation, observability, and platform optimization to improve performance, resiliency, reliability, scalability, supportability, and long-term efficiency.
Create and maintain a communication and documentation framework for solution designs, architecture decisions, configuration inventories, interface specifications, deployment procedures, support runbooks, test evidence, and technical recommendations.
Communicate complex Calypso solutions clearly across business and technology teams to promote understanding, adoption, operational readiness, and effective support. • Lead compliance, security, data protection, and risk mitigation activities for Calypso solutions. Ensure technical changes meet regulatory, business, architecture, cybersecurity, data-handling, segregation-of-duties, and audit requirements.
Support the creation and execution of comprehensive technology solution-design strategies by evaluating new Calypso capabilities and reusable patterns, gathering peer and technical-leadership input, and presenting recommendations to appropriate governance bodies.
Model governance best practices. Define and implement quality standards for Calypso configuration, custom code, integrations, testing, documentation, release management, and production support.
Design and support advanced analytics and reporting solutions within or connected to Calypso.
Automate controlled data aggregation and delivery processes and ensure outputs align with approved business and regulatory objectives.
Work effectively with Nasdaq, implementation partners, vendors, infrastructure teams, enterprise architects, cybersecurity, data teams, and application owners to resolve product issues and deliver integrated solutions.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
