Collect blood donations safely and professionally from volunteer donors while ensuring a positive donor experience. Manage the setup of equipment, perform daily quality control, and utilize computer systems for donor processing.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with phlebotomy or medical assistant certification strongly preferred. Preference is given to candidates with experience in healthcare, blood centers, and customer service.

At MKBC, we save lives every day by providing blood products to hospitals in PA and NJ. The Full-time Mobile Collections Specialist (Phlebotomist) position supports the Blood Center by collecting blood donations (blood and blood products) safely from volunteer donors in a compassionate and professional manner. The anticipated salary starts at $18.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience. In addition, Miller-Keystone offers the following to all full-time employees:

Additional information: This position reports directly to the Donor Collections Manager
Hours vary daily based on schedule and can be either 7am - 3pm and 12pm - 8pm.
To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, and on-call to cover weekends and holidays.
A schedule is provided one to two weeks in advance.
The first month of training will take place onsite at our blood center at 1465 Valley Center Parkway Bethlehem, PA.
