What you will have an opportunity to do:
We are seeking a skilledPainter / Maintenance Technicianto join our Engineering team. This position is primarily responsible for painting, drywall repair, and maintaining the overall appearance of the hotel. The ideal candidate has experience in surface preparation, patching and repairing walls, painting interior and exterior areas, and performing general building maintenance.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys helping maintain a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
Your role:
Painting & Drywall (Primary Focus)
Perform interior and exterior painting projects throughout the hotel.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
Match paint colors and finishes to maintain property standards.
Complete touch-up painting in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas.
Maintain painting tools, supplies, and equipment.
Ensure work areas are protected, clean, and safe during and after projects.
General Maintenance
Perform minor repairs to walls, doors, ceilings, fixtures, and other building components.
Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property.
Support departmental projects and renovations as assigned.
Follow all hotel safety procedures and operational standards.
What are we looking for?
Previous professional painting experience required.
Experience with drywall repair and finishing strongly preferred.
General maintenance, construction, or facilities experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work as required.
