The nurse will provide care for surgical patients recovering from anesthesia, including monitoring vital signs and checking surgical sites. They will also educate patients on post-discharge care and cross-train to support the PreOperative area as needed.
Candidates must have at least one year of PreOp, PACU, or Critical Care nursing experience and hold a current Virginia Registered Nurse license. BLS certification is required, while ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
