Job Description:
The Legal & Compliance Counsel will be part of the APAC L&C team providing legal and compliance support for all APAC Airbus entities, in particular, Malaysia.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced In-house generalist legal counsel or lawyer with at least 6-8 years Post-Qualified Experience to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal advice and support across a wide range of legal matters, including contact review, drafting, and negotiation, as well as litigation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and effectively managing legal risks for the organization.
Business-level proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu. Additional proficiency in any other APAC or European language.
More precisely:
(i) Aviation services: MRO services: parts repair, lease and exchange services, line and base airframe maintenance, spare parts management and supply, sales, fleet technical management services, inventory technical management services etc
(ii) Procurement: aircraft spare parts, aviation subcontracting services, jigs and tools, industrial maintenance, infrastructure and construction operations, general procurement
(iii) Real Estate: structure, draft and negotiate contracts relating to real estate operations (purchasing, sale, construction, lease, etc.)
(iv) Compliance-related contracts with third parties - e.g. sponsorships, resellers, channel partners, sales intermediaries
Under the supervision of the Regional Ethics and Compliance Manager and HO Legal & Compliance - Malaysia:
Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Legal & Compliance Department and the Company
