The Certification Engineer defines and executes environmental certification programs to ensure vehicles meet the standards of the country of sale. This includes preparing certification materials, reviewing product changes, and partnering with engineering teams to drive deliverables.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in environmental certification or homologation. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and expertise in global regulatory emissions compliance.

Stellantis is required to certify all vehicles to the environmental standards required in the country of sale. In order to ensure all vehicles are certified to meet the company sale plan, vehicle program plans must be understood and an appropriate certification plan developed, communicated, and executed. The Certification Engineer is responsible for helping to define certification programs and is responsible for execution of certification deliverables. The certification engineer will partner with TSRC members and other department functions, such as engineering to, to drive the required deliverables for environmental certification.
