POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for timely and accurate packaging and shipping outbound finished goods as directed by the shipping schedule; receive and stock incoming shipments and assist in other areas of shipping and receiving as workload dictates including managing physical inventory and delivery to local locations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare the daily shipments including but not limited to creating pack-slips, wrapping parts, packaging/palletizing and labeling
• Be able to work and schedule shipment pickups with Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL and LTL
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Accurately and effectively input shipment information into Company-specific ERP system
• Deliver and pick up shipments and materials within adjacent counties

• Follow Demgy 5S program (workstation organization/locations maintained)
• Follow policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
QualificationsJOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Reading comprehension; written instructions, policies, and job specifications
Able to use forklift, pallet jack, hand tools, and operate mechanical equipment
Able to use MS Office as well as learn Company-specific systems
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers
Have experience working with FedEx, UPS, DHL and LTL
Be able to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment
Be able to think outside the box and keep things moving
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with time constraints on tasks being performed
Adaptable/Flexible
Dependable, Reliable Attendance
Able to operate a light truck
Can follow a production schedule for deliveries and pickups
Read maps, use GPS navigation, and follow written or verbal geographic directions

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3) years of experience in shipping and receiving required
One (1) year experience with inventory control processes required
One (1) year experience driving at least a 10’ box truck required
Valid Washington Driver’s License with good driving record
