Position Summary
The Make-Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic improvements to company standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring apartments are move-in ready on schedule and that every resident’s first impression of their home is a positive one.
The Make-Ready Technician works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams and may assist with general maintenance needs across the property as required.
Work Arrangement
Location: Onsite / Boulders at Puget Sound / Tacoma, WA Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM On-Call / Weekends: Occasional, based on business needs
Key Responsibilities
Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work, including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards Interact professionally and courteously with residents and team members while working throughout the community

Next Role Readiness does not guarantee promotion but ensures priority consideration for internal advancement opportunities when available.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $24 – $26 per hour (dependent on experience, skills, and location) Bonus Eligibility: Discretionary bonus upon eligibility Incentives: Eligibility based long-term incentives and performance-based awards
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and market considerations.
