The technician will visit customers' homes to inspect, repair, and refinish furniture using various specialized materials and methods. They are also responsible for driving a company van, maintaining tools, and creating accurate on-site service reports.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a physical assessment and background check. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for technical school graduates.
Furniture Repair and Refinish Technician
Do you like to work with your hands building or repairing things? Have you built wood shelves or refinished furniture? Do you think you can reupholster your favorite lounge chair and don’t mind working alone? If the answer is yes, then Havertys Furniture has the perfect position for YOU!
Our furniture repair and refinish technicians earn ($20 - $30 per hour), are provided with 3 weeks of hands-on furniture repair paid training and are given a company repair van to drive.
Pay: $20 - $30 an hour, based on experience.
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday. 8-hour days.
