The technician will inspect, diagnose, and repair used electric vehicles to ensure they meet quality and safety standards for resale. Key tasks include assessing battery health, managing high-voltage systems, and documenting all findings in internal reports.
Candidates need at least 2 years of automotive technician experience or 1 year of specific EV/hybrid repair experience. A valid driver's license and a strong understanding of high-voltage safety protocols are required.
Recharged is on a mission to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption with the first end-to-end e-commerce marketplace designed specifically for used EV buyers and sellers and to join the team in our new Charlotte Experience Center. Recharged is committed to making electric vehicles more accessible and affordable to consumers, while also serving dealers, fleets, and other companies navigating the transition to electric vehicles.
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used EVs to ensure they meet our quality standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for resale.
This position is ideal for a technician with strong EV knowledge, high-voltage system training, or hybrid/EV diagnostic experience. Being a State Inspector is considered a plus.
Communication: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members. Other language- a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, such as walking, standing, and lifting.
Driving Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's motor vehicle insurance carrier. Willingness to submit a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for review is required.
