The Lead Test Operator is responsible for installing, aligning, and executing test sequences on small turbine engines within a test cell environment. They will also perform maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure all activities comply with EHS policies.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience, including 2 years in mechanical or electrical assembly testing, preferably in a regulated industry. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Role Overview
Beehive Industries is looking for an energetic and driven Lead Test Operator to support the assembly and testing process for newly built small turbine engines. This role may operate in a development environment but will primarily function in support of high-rate production activities. The Technician will apply instrumentation to hardware, install engines into a test cell, support a test sequence, uninstall engines from the test cell, and prepare for the next stage of the process. This role will partner with various engineering, supply chain, EHS and other functional departments daily to deliver high-quality products to our customers. This position follows a three-day workweek with three, 12-hour shifts, Friday-Sunday.
