The Assistant Manager will lead the design and development of structural parts and chassis for air-conditioning units. Responsibilities include managing CAD resources, conducting structural analysis, and supporting parts localization and supplier development.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant design experience. Proficiency in structural design, 3D/2D software, and material analysis is essential for this role.

Drawings review & tolerance analysis
Support to suppliers & supply chain for parts development
Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Design & development experience (min 3 years of experience as above) required as below:
Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set:
Strong product design & development competence on structure/ chassis design (preference to chillers/ commercial products work experience)
Experience on 3D/ 2D software’s & awareness of CAE tools
Experience in structural , qualification & reliability testing
Rich knowledge on material properties
Dimensioning & Tolerance analysis
Machine / tool process knowledge (at suppliers ends) for development of parts
CAD management (Resources, design standardization, schedule)
VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering)
Understanding of the entire new product development process.
Strong English communication skills - oral and written.
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
Analytical thinking and problem solving are the key
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and products is necessary.
Passionate about building high-quality designs & implement in factories.
Self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative, balance demand load & prioritize
