The Quality Engineering Co-op will assist in the design, development, and testing of medical devices while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause investigations, manage design changes, and document findings throughout the product lifecycle.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a fourth-year or graduate engineering program with experience in design controls and risk management. Proficiency in electronic, mechanical, and software design, along with strong analytical and communication skills, is required.
General Description:
The Quality Engineering Co-op will work with Advanced Quality Engineers (AQE) and Post-Market Quality Engineers (QE) to ensure we develop the right products up front – evaluate risk, ensure our customers’ user needs are met, and help drive craftsmanship, safety, durability and reliability into the product. On the post-market side, we also work closely with regulatory to handle any complaints and implement design changes, as needed, to address quality issues. The role requires someone who has great communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
This co-op role is for minimum 8 months with possibility for extension.
