The Personal Trainer is responsible for developing wellness programs, conducting fitness assessments, and providing instruction on proper equipment use. They also maintain a clean and safe wellness floor while fostering a welcoming environment for all members.
Candidates must have at least two years of college or relevant work experience, with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. A nationally accredited personal training certification is required, either upon hire or within the first six months depending on educational background.

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Personal Trainer is responsible for the development of all member-related wellness programs and activities. The Personal Trainer is a self-motivated team player who facilitates member retention through helping members feel welcome on the wellness floor through positive interactions and maintaining a clean wellness floor.
