The lifeguard is responsible for monitoring the indoor pools and adjacent areas to ensure member safety. They also perform general pool maintenance and assist with member support tasks as directed by management.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. At least one year of experience and excellent English communication skills are required.
The Olympic Club, a private membership athletic club, is seeking part-time certified Lifeguards to watch over our two state of the art indoor pools for our City Clubhouse in downtown San Francisco. Our City Clubhouse is located one block from Union Square and within easy walking distance of the Powell Street BART station. Our members enjoy 2 campuses, 19 sports, world renowned golf courses, exceptional social and athletic programs as well as 18 hotel rooms and 5 Food & Beverage outlets.
Position Summary:
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Regular attendance required based on business expectations and needs.
Adheres to all federal, state, local and San Francisco laws regarding health, safety and employment
Perks: The Olympic Club offers employees free meals daily, free golf on Mondays at our Lakeside campus and a variety of sports and social events for employees throughout the year.

Long a west coast powerhouse in amateur sports, the Club is the home of many local, regional, national and international champions.
