Ski Patrol members provide first aid, maintain slope safety, and manage risk within the resort boundaries. They also participate in emergency response plans, including avalanche control, search and rescue, and lift evacuations.
Candidates must possess Advanced First Aid certification, a valid BLS CPR certificate, and Avalanche Skills Training Level 1. Strong skiing ability and the physical capacity to work outdoors in all weather conditions are mandatory.

What can you expect?
Ski Patrol provides first aid treatment to all individuals at the resort and patrols and maintains slopes within the ski area boundary in a safe manner. They maintain a courteous relationship with the public to ensure a safe and enjoyable skiing & riding environment. Being familiar with the Alpine Responsibility Code and basics of ski resort risk management are essential parts of P1’s work, reducing the ski area’s exposure. P1s work under the direction of the Senior Supervisor of Public Safety and the Ski Patrol supervisory team and interact with all departments at the ski area.
