About the Role:
The Camp Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of educational camp programs in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for campers, ensuring that all activities align with educational goals and standards. The Camp Coordinator will oversee staff training, manage daily operations, and maintain communication with parents and stakeholders. By fostering a positive camp culture, the Coordinator will enhance the overall experience for both campers and staff. Ultimately, the success of the camp program hinges on the Coordinator's ability to lead, inspire, and adapt to the needs of the participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience in camp coordination or a similar role, with a strong understanding of educational programming.
Age 20-29
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience working with children and youth in an educational or recreational setting.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement camp programs that meet educational objectives and cater to the diverse interests of campers.
Supervise and train camp staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Manage daily operations, including scheduling activities, overseeing logistics, and maintaining camp facilities.
