Position Overview
Marmot Basin is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and creative Marketing & Events Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing initiatives and events that drive visitation and strengthen the Marmot Basin brand.
Working closely with the marketing and sales team, this seasonal position plays an integral role in bringing campaigns to life across digital, print, social media, partnerships, events, and on-mountain experiences. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coordinating event logistics, creating engaging content, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on variety, and wants to help showcase one of Canada's premier ski destinations located in the heart of Jasper National Park. The contract dates of this role will be early November thru early May.

Located in the breathtaking, mountainous landscape of Jasper National Park - 11,000 square kilometers of wilderness and a part of the UNESCO Canadian Rockies World Heritage Site. Marmot Basin is a truly unique skiing destination. Marmot Basin’s facilities and services include 7 lifts, including the Canadian Rockies Express high speed quad chair - the longest in the Canadian Rockies, 3 on-mountain day lodges, a full-service Rental Shop, Snow Sports School, eateries, a nursery and retail shop. Marmot Basin is the northern most Rocky Mountain ski area and enjoys abundant dry, light & fluffy natural snow that is a dream to ski and snowboard. With the highest base elevation in Canada and a latitude of 53° N, our snow falls early, and continues well into May. With over 1,600 acres of skiable terrain along with the addition of three new chairlifts since 2009, lift lines are virtually non-existent; providing families, beginners and experts alike the room to carve turns at their leisure. Marmot Basin is one of the least crowded ski areas of its kind in North America where powder stashes last and the wide open slopes are yours to enjoy.
