This is a full-time, seasonal position beginning August 2026 and will go until October 17, 2026.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a diverse role that involves working across four different restaurants at Maligne Lake— The Lakehouse Café, The View, The Waffle Hut, and The Historic Chalet — and may include any or all of the following duties:

• Work a variety of shifts that may include, cashier, food running, food service, bussing tables, restocking, hosting, basic bartending, barista and assembling waffles
• Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
• Always provide guests with exceptional service
• Provide a warm and welcoming experience by actively greeting and engaging with all guests as they enter the food and beverage locations and food service counters
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Stocking and maintaining product levels
• Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours
• Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
• Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
• Maintenance and cleanliness of service areas and dining areas.
• Assist in preparation of products
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous Food & Beverage experience

• Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
• Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude
• Second language an asset; - Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;
• Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Flexible with work schedule
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)

The starting wage for this role is $17.00/hour.
