You’ll lead the design of scalable, secure and future-ready architectures, guiding everything from data platforms and analytics to AI-enabled solutions. This is a newly created role, and we are looking for someone who is a leader, trusted advisor and able to deliver in a complex, highly regulated environment.
What you’ll be doing

Translate complex business, regulatory and technology needs into practical, scalable designs
Provide hands-on leadership across data platforms, AI solutions, integration and analytics ecosystems
Embed security, privacy, governance and responsible AI into all solution designs from day one
Guide teams through design patterns, trade-offs, risks and dependencies
Drive architectural consistency across data ingestion, transformation, modelling, serving and reporting
Identify and manage architectural risk, technical debt and cross-platform impacts
Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data and AI architecture roadmaps and standards
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Significant experience in solution architecture roles within complex enterprise and highly regulated environments.
Demonstrated experience designing and guiding solutions across data platforms, analytics, reporting, integration and AI-enabled capabilities.
Strong understanding of modern data architecture, including data ingestion, data pipelines, data modelling, lakehouse or warehouse patterns, metadata, lineage, data quality and data serving layers.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems, preferably including Microsoft D365, Azure and Databricks.
Experience with AI, machine learning or generative AI solution patterns, including data preparation, model integration, deployment, monitoring, human oversight and responsible use considerations.
Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security, access management, ethical AI and regulatory considerations in a sensitive or regulated data environment.
Proven ability to operate at the intersection of enterprise architecture and delivery, balancing strategic alignment with pragmatic implementation.
Ability to translate complex business, data and technology requirements into clear architecture options, recommendations and delivery-ready designs.
Experience working with agile, SAFe or iterative delivery teams in transformation or enterprise technology environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Ability to simplify complex data and AI concepts for non-technical audiences, including executives and governance forums.
Strong analytical and decision-making capability, with sound judgement in balancing speed, risk, cost, sustainability and architectural integrity.
Credible technical leader and natural collaborator
Customer‑centric, adaptable and delivery‑oriented.
