Act as a programme-level technical leader to drive quality engineering strategy and scalable practices across multiple squads. Own the evolution of automation frameworks and provide high-level governance for end-to-end test strategies and tooling.
Requires over 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering with deep expertise in front-end and API automation using tools like Playwright or Selenium. Candidates must be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and have extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
As a Principal Quality Engineering (QE) Lead, you will operate as an individual contributor outside of delivery team and play a critical role in driving quality outcomes across the entire programme. You will enable, guide, and challenge multiple squads to ensure quality engineering practices, frameworks, and tooling are consistently applied and continuously improved.
You will partner with QEs, System Analysts, Tech Leads, and Engineering Leaders to shape programme-level quality strategy, ensure alignment across domains, and provide hands-on support where deeper technical or organisational challenges require escalation beyond the squad.
