The Accounting Assistant provides general clerical support, focusing on accounts payable processing and vendor reconciliations. They also assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and various ad hoc financial reports.
Candidates should have an associate degree in Accounting or Finance and preferably over one year of experience in the field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fluency in both English and Chinese are required.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Primary responsibilities include:
· Prepare accounts payable vouchers, perform three-way match, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports.
· Process accounts payable payments and manage filing.
· Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies and issues.
· Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes and audits.
· Assist with various ad hoc reports and projects.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
· Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
· Fluent in both English and Chinese
