The Senior Systems Engineer analyzes user requirements and high-level architectures to develop system specifications and lead design activities. They provide technical leadership for integration and are responsible for the technical integrity of all deliverables.
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 20 years of relevant experience, or 25 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Candidates must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and an IAT Level II certification.

Salary Range: $220,000-$250,000, depending on experience.
What You Will Do:
The System Engineer analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. This role analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. The System Engineer guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. They provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology while incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
Responsibilities also include developing technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation. The System Engineer guides system development and implementation planning through the assessment and preparation of system engineering management plans, system integration plans, and test plans. They interact with the customer regarding systems engineering technical considerations and resolve associated problems, issues, and conflicts. This position has the ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. The System Engineer also communicates effectively with program personnel, stakeholders, and senior executives.
