The Behavior Specialist develops and implements individualized behavior support plans while providing hands-on crisis intervention and staff coaching. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field and possess 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with mental illness or intellectual disabilities. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a criminal background check are mandatory.

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and collaborative Behavior Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing individualized behavioral supports, coaching care team staff, analyzing outcomes, and helping individuals achieve greater stability, independence, and quality of life.

Position Summary
The Behavior Specialist provides specialized behavioral support services across multiple settings and works closely with individuals, families, direct-care staff, clinical professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and revising Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and related behavioral strategies. The Behavior Specialist also provides hands-on support during challenging situations, trains and coaches staff, analyzes behavioral data, and helps ensure evidence-based interventions are implemented consistently.
