The Staff Nurse assesses, plans, and implements nursing care for patients with physical, social, and psychological needs within a mental health framework. Responsibilities include managing crises, leading patient/family group sessions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient progress.
Requires current practicing registration as an RN or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. Candidates must have at least one year of recent experience in acute psychiatry or tertiary mental health.
