Location: Tacoma, WA Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person, W-2 Employee
About the Role: Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-founded, woman-owned company seeking full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an in-person, school-based position supporting students in public school districts.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students
Support implementation of IEPs and complete documentation
Collaborate with supervising SLPs and the school special education team
Deliver services in compliance with district and state guidelines
Requirements:
Active Washington State DOH SLPA license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
Completion of 100 clinical hours
Completion of an SLPA program or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
Must complete fingerprinting/background check prior to start
School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
