Provide academic, social, and developmental support for deaf or hard-of-hearing children aged birth to five across various settings. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, designing developmentally appropriate lessons, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement IEP and IFSP goals.
A NYS Teacher of the Deaf certificate is required, with a preference for certification in birth-2nd grade students with disabilities. Prior experience in early childhood intervention and working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is preferred.

Position Summary:
Liberty POST is currently seeking a Teacher of the Deaf to work with children ages birth to five. The Teacher of the Deaf will provide academic, social, and developmental support for individual students in the following settings: home, daycare, preschool, telehealth and other early childhood programs.
