Full job description
Description
The Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO) serves as a strategic executive leader responsible for the financial health, administrative infrastructure, enterprise systems, and organizational support functions of Habitat for Humanity of Omaha. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFAO provides strategic leadership across Finance and Accounting, as well as operational leadership and oversight of Human Resources, Information Technology, and Learning & Development.

The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to lead effectively in a dynamic environment.
The CFAO serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Endowment Committee, and executive leadership team, while building and maintaining strong relationships with auditors, lenders, legal counsel, and other strategic external partners.
We are hiring for this role due to the planned retirement of a team member. The successful candidate will benefit from a structured transition period alongside the current CFO. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn established processes while helping shape future improvements.
