The President and CEO provides executive leadership, vision, and strategic direction to the organization while overseeing program delivery and financial sustainability. They are responsible for building donor relationships, managing the leadership team, and maintaining strong governance through partnership with the Board of Directors.
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience leading matrix-based organizations with significant board-level exposure. Strong fiscal management skills, strategic planning expertise, and experience navigating regulatory compliance in clinical or education-related fields are required.
The President and CEO is a highly‐skilled professional that provides leadership, vision and direction to the leadership team and the broader Firefly Autism organization. The President and CEO represents the organization to the public, leads organizational development and strategic planning, optimizes financial performance, oversees program delivery, builds donor relationships and oversees personnel. The President and CEO works closely with the Board of Directors, senior leadership team members and is responsible for expanding systems and procedures to accomplish the mission and reach the strategic goals set forth by the board.
The President and CEO develops organizational strategy, sound practices and supportive relationships, both internally and externally, resulting in cooperative and effective collaborations that further the mission of Firefly Autism.

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment may be similar to or greater than that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
