Provide peer recovery support to individuals experiencing mental illness and substance use disorders through collaboration with community behavioral health providers. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical documentation, performing community outreach, and referring clients to emergency or professional services.
Must be an Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporter with lived experience of mental illness and/or substance use disorder. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required, and one year of experience in peer recovery services is preferred.
The function of this position is to provide Peer Recovery Support to people experiencing mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Collaboration and communication with Montgomery County ADAMHS, Ohio MHAS, community behavioral health providers, and GESMV staff is essential in this position. Employees are expected to value highest ethical standards, quality clinical care, and good customer service. We also value quality communication skills in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary and often multi-agency environment. Must be an Ohio Certified Peer Recovery Supporter.
