The intern provides psychotherapy services, mental health assessments, and therapeutic behavioral support within school and community settings. They are responsible for developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating care with school professionals and parents.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field and be currently enrolled in a master's degree program in social work. Effective communication skills and the ability to maintain SWT status are required.
Summary
The Social Work intern is responsible for shadowing and providing psychotherapy services including mental health assessments, individual and family psychotherapy, therapeutic behavioral support/case management, psychoeducation prevention services and consultation with school professionals, parents and students as needed. Services are primarily provided in the school/community/home with the availability of telehealth as clinically indicated.

Responsibilities
This position is eligible for the Ohio Higher Education Great Minds Fellowship for those enrolled in a participating school. Great Minds Fellows will be eligible for up to $10,000 (lifetime maximum) during their undergraduate and graduate studies for scholarship opportunities to assist with the costs of obtaining undergraduate and graduate-level degrees or certificates; paid internships in CBHCs at the undergraduate and graduate level; and the costs of required license and certification preparation and exams, and other necessary costs related to the degree or certificate.
