About the Role
ACH Group is seeking a detail-focused and analytical Management Accountant (Claims) to support the accurate, compliant and timely management of government claiming activity, with a primary focus on Support at Home. This role will play a key part in strengthening revenue assurance, improving claims visibility, supporting reconciliations and providing financial insights that help inform operational and business decision-making.
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Manage the preparation, validation, submission and reconciliation of Support at Home and related government claims.
Review service, funding, customer and finance data to ensure claims are accurate, compliant, appropriately evidenced and correctly coded.
Resolve claim exceptions, revenue risks and reconciliation issues while maintaining clear controls and documentation.
You will also
Complete reconciliations across claiming records, operational systems, customer accounts and general ledger revenue.
Support month-end, year-end, audit and compliance reporting, including journals, accruals, adjustments and revenue analysis.
Provide financial information, commentary and insights to support reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, margin review and business decision-making.
About You
You hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
You are CA or CPA qualified or working towards completion.
You bring experience in management accounting, customer accounts or a similar finance role.
You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to investigate complex data, reconciliations and variances.
You are confident using Excel and financial systems, including working across multiple operational, billing and finance systems.
Desirable
Experience in aged care, home care, community services, health, disability, not-for-profit or government-funded service environments.
Experience with Support at Home, Home Care Packages, CHSP, PRODA, ACPP, Medicare or related government claiming processes.
