Your opportunity
As ICT Operations Manager, you'll lead ECH's ICT Operations function, delivering secure, reliable and responsive technology services across the organisation. You'll oversee Service Desk performance, cyber resilience, infrastructure operations and governance, while providing strong leadership to a high-performing ICT team.
Working closely with stakeholders and vendors, you'll drive continuous improvement and ensure technology services effectively support our people, clients and broader organisational goals

- Leading ICT Operations to deliver secure, reliable and responsive technology services that enable exceptional experiences for employees and clients.
- Strengthening cyber resilience and operational governance through effective security controls, risk management, change processes and compliance practices.
- Driving Service Desk excellence by improving service quality, customer experience, knowledge management and operational performance.
- Providing technical leadership and continuous improvement by resolving complex operational challenges, managing major incidents and using data-driven insights to enhance service reliability.
- Leading and developing a high-performing ICT team while building strong partnerships across the organisation to deliver technology outcomes aligned with business priorities and client needs.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications & experience:
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Azure, cyber security, networking, project management or change management certifications.
- Proven experience leading ICT Operations, infrastructure support or Service Desk functions within a complex organisation.
- Strong technical expertise across Microsoft 365 environments, systems administration, endpoint management, networking, identity and access management.
- Demonstrated experience managing ICT incidents, problems and service requests using structured service management processes.
- Strong understanding of cyber security operations including patching, endpoint protection, monitoring, access controls and incident response.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing technical teams while driving service improvements and operational performance.
- Current driver's licence.
- National Police Check.
We would also love you to bring the following skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related discipline.
- Experience working within aged care, healthcare, community services or another regulated industry.
- Experience improving Service Desk maturity, knowledge management practices and ticket quality.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and vendor management skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to balance operational delivery, strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
