About the Role
As an Aged Care Employee, you’ll directly support our residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!
We are specifically looking for a passionate Aged Care Employee to join our residential care home at IRT Tarrawanna. We have a part-time opportunity working night shifts, 19 hours per week, on the following roster:
Week 1 Tuesday: 11:59 pm–6:29 am Wednesday: 11:59 pm–6:29 am Friday: 11:59 pm–6:29 am Sunday: 11:59 pm–6:29 am
Week 2 Monday: 11:59 pm–6:29 am Tuesday: 11:59 pm–6:29 am
Your work may include:
Assisting our residents with their daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility
Administering medication and applying simple wound dressings
Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities
To Be Successful You Will Have
Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent
A big heart – you’re empathetic, adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector
