Transform lives, every single day
Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, support and strategy to make it happen. We’re a respected not-for-profit that has been serving those in need for more than 170 years.
Every year, we help thousands of people through aged care, community services and mission programs. Join Anglicare's Finance Operations team and play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue processing, outstanding customer service and strong financial controls that support our aged care and community services.
Be welcomed into a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven team where we don't just talk about values—we live them.
Your Opportunity
As our Revenue and Receivables Officer, you will support the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant end-to-end revenue and receivables processes. Working closely with residents, clients, families, operational leaders and internal stakeholders, you'll help manage client accounts, process payments and fees, support debtor management activities and contribute to a positive customer experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts receivable professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment where attention to detail, customer focus and teamwork are highly valued.
With integrity and resilience, you will:
Manage client and resident account administration, including account setups, fee adjustments, transfers and departures.
Process receipting, fee generation and account transactions accurately and within required timeframes.
Monitor accounts, investigate discrepancies and assist with resolving outstanding account issues.
Support debtor follow-up activities and contribute to the reduction of aged debt in line with Anglicare policies.
Assist with month-end and year-end processing, reconciliations and reporting while maintaining compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
Deliver responsive, high-quality service to residents, clients, families and internal stakeholders.
What you'll bring
You are a customer-focused finance professional who prides yourself on accuracy, organisation and delivering outstanding service. You enjoy building positive relationships, solving problems and working collaboratively to achieve team goals.
You also share our values of Integrity, Justice, Compassion and Excellence and demonstrate them in the way you work every day.
You will also need:
Previous experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, client account management or a similar finance-related role.
A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing financial transactions and reconciliations.
Sound understanding of accounts receivable processes and debtor management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with residents, clients, families and internal stakeholders.
Ideally, you will also have:
Experience working in aged care, health, community services or a large, complex organisation.
Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues during busy periods.
