Department Summary The Office of Advising Services promotes high-quality advising across UNT’s advising units through coordination, training/ professional development, and leadership support. Our advising team offers pathways counseling to prospective and current students, TSI advising, and academic preparedness resources. The office is located in the Academic Success Center at Sage Hall. |

Position Overview This position is responsible for providing guidance to students on Texas Success Initiative. Advising TSI incomplete students into their course remediation. Coordinating Texas Success Initiative efforts campuswide. |

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, or professional academic advising. |

Ability to communicate effectively with populations verbally and in writing. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
