Candidates must have either a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or a related field with one year of experience, or a High School Diploma with three years of studio practice. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work with individuals with disabilities are required.

The Art Instructor provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a creative, inclusive, and person-centered environment. This role is responsible for teaching artistic techniques, promoting skill development, supporting community integration, and fostering self-expression through the arts. The Art Instructor also helps promote the studio and creates opportunities for individuals served to engage with the local community. A strong commitment to RHD’s values and mission must be demonstrated in all aspects of the position.
