The Area Director is responsible for leading spiritual development, recruiting and supervising staff and volunteers, and managing fundraising strategies to support the ministry. They also oversee direct ministry activities including clubs, camping, and community outreach to reach youth with the Gospel.
Candidates must have at least one year of related ministry experience and a demonstrated ability to lead teams and build relationships with youth and adults. A college degree is preferred, and applicants must subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.

MN Valley is looking for the next area director! The area celebrated 50 years of ministry this past year. Currently, the MN Valley area comprises of 7 clubs: four Young Life, 2 Wyldlife, and 1 Capernaum. The area has a core group of committed leaders and adult support across the 7 clubs, as well having long standing community relationships, fundraising events, and local church relationships. This is a full-time position with an intended start date of September 2026.
