The Senior Acquisition Specialist manages the cost, schedule, and performance of Department of Defense acquisitions while supporting the Director’s Action Group. The Director’s Action Group (DAG) / Business Operations Senior-Level position serves as a key acquisition and business operations advisor supporting Space Force programs at Los Angeles Operations in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will help manage the cost, schedule, and performance of Department of Defense acquisitions while coordinating high-visibility taskers, consolidating stakeholder responses, and supporting leadership with planning, briefing, and execution activities. You will play an essential role in ensuring timely and effective support to directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command priorities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support Director’s Action Group and Business Operations functions for Space Force acquisition activities. You will manage the cost, schedule, and performance of Department of Defense acquisitions from the commercial, industrial, and/or military perspective. You will assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external program stakeholders. You will frequently interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools such as TMT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to initiate, track, and close out various directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers. You will apply effective communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills to support ongoing and future Space Force acquisitions.

Basic Compensation: $150- 175k
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
