The Survey Technician drafts subdivision, boundary, and easement plats while preparing parcel descriptions and staking maps. They also create digital terrain models and perform courthouse research to support land surveying projects.
Candidates should have a degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field, or at least three years of progressive survey field experience. Proficiency in mathematical concepts like trigonometry and geometry, as well as the ability to interpret legal descriptions and engineering drawings, is required.
