The research assistant conducts biomedical experiments to investigate molecular mechanisms of diseases and analyzes the resulting data. They are also responsible for presenting findings at conferences and co-authoring research publications.
A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience or a Master's degree is required. Candidates must be able to work independently in a laboratory setting and mentor other research personnel.
1 Performs a variety of analytical and technical laboratory experiments, analysis and other duties as required in the study, research work following established methods as well as developing new procedures and protocols.
2. Presents findings of ongoing research at lab meetings, research progress seminars, professional meetings and conferences.
3. Conducts literature searches, writes, and co-authors the results of their research.
4. Independently researches in the laboratory in conjunction with principal investigator
5. Assists in the training and mentoring of research personnel.
